Physical examination

A physical examination is a routine test done to assess a person’s general health. It involves an examination of the entire body or specific parts of the body.

Electrodiagnostic test

Electrodiagnostic (EDX) studies are a commonly used technique to test the function of muscles and nerves.

Visual evoked potentials

Visual evoked potentials (VEP) are used to assess the visual pathways through the optic nerves and brain.

X-Ray

X-ray: High-energy radiation with waves shorter than those of visible light. X-ray is used in low doses to make images that help to diagnose diseases.

MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses a magnetic field and pulses of radio wave energy to make pictures of organs and structures inside the body.

CT scan

Computed tomography (CT) of the body uses special x-ray equipment to help detect a variety of diseases and conditions.

Bone scan

Bone scan is a nuclear scanning test to find certain abnormalities in bone. It is primarily used to help diagnose a number of conditions relating to bones, including cancer of the bone.

Bone densitometry

Bone densitometry is a test like an X-ray that quickly and accurately measures the density of bone. It is used primarily to detect osteopenia or osteoporosis.
